.ga is an initiative of the Agence Nationale des Infrastructures Numériques et des Fréquences (ANINF) in Libreville, Gabon. While .ga is is the automatic platform offered by My GA which gives away the majority of its domains for free. International best practices in trademark and IP protection have been applied during the GA launch with a sunrise and landrush period.
My GA's mission is to improve access to the ccTLD resource .GA - an essential resource for the internet in Gabon, to facilitate registration and management of the domain name by the .GA domain name registrant, to improve communication of the registrant with registry and/or the accredited registrar(s) and to increase the awareness of Gabon across the globe.
My GA is a stable and automated platform deployed by ANINF with the support of its technical partner. With multi-redundant backbones and DNS root-servers located in every corner of the world, My GA can handle millions of registrations and is fully secure.
